2022 international women's day - how do you help others rise?

To help celebrate the 2022 International Women's Day, we asked our members and partners to tell us how they help others RISE.  We were astounded at the amazing submissions and the inspiration to be supportive to our colleagues.  We randomlly selected FIVE entries from the week and announced them in our social media.  These entries received a highly coveted pair of Wonder Women socks and a FREE gift membership for themselves or a friend.

KUDOS - NEW IN 2021 - SHARE YOUR SUPPORT

Kudos is about recognizing leaders in our field to support them in their creativity and innovation, acknowledge challenging times either through job loss or personal challenges and to celebrate successes and positive changes.

We want to recognize the silent heroes who have contributed so much to global education throughout their careers. In uncertain and difficult times we seek to boost morale, highlight careers and feature genuine and authentic innovators and changemakers within the field of international education .

We seek to congratulate leaders across all nationalities, gender and sectors of Global Education and share their achievements across the field. This not a nomination form or a competition - anyone can receive a kudos!

WOMEN IN EDUCATION AWARDS & LeadERSHIP SUMMIT – Saturday, 2 November 2019, Berlin

The Global Leadership League partnered with Lead 50/50, our sister organization within language travel, to host the Women in Education Awards (WIE) and Leadership Summit.

The WIE Awards recognized and celebrated the achievements and contributions of inspirational women, gender non-conforming individuals, men and organizations in the field of international education.

The inaugural WIE Leadership Summit was an afternoon of networking and idea-sharing with professional development sessions, The League’s Making Tough Choices when Everything is Important Forum, and an interactive panel discussion to integrate learning.

The PIE news Awards

The League is honored to share that we were named the winner of the prestigious "PIEoneer of the Year Award" at the PIE Awards in London on September 8, 2017. It was a wonderful night of celebrating achievements across the field of international education.

The PIEoneer Awards recognize organizations and individuals who demonstrate their commitment to improving some facet of the international education industry.

The Global Leadership League was nominated because of our desire and work to solve significant gender challenges in the field. In our first year, we had over 1200 expressions of interest, hosted three sold-out events, and offered our first webinars. We are committed to offering leadership skills training and mentoring.

Our members come from different backgrounds, abilities, levels of experience, and parts of the world. Our goal is to embrace this diversity and encourage relationships across generations and experience levels for the benefit of all involved. 

The Global Leadership League was started by a group of women in the field of international education for the purposes of advancing women’s leadership skills, knowledge, and connections.
