Join Frontiers Editor Dr. Elaine Meyer-Lee and Managing Editor Dr. Amelia Dietrich to learn strategies for designing, executing, and publishing meaningful education abroad scholarship to advance evidence-based practice and innovation in our field. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions about the publishing process and workshop ideas about their current and future research articles with the presenters and fellow attendees in this interactive session.
This event is open to all members. No prior experience is needed. This session is open to anyone interested in learning more about the topic, from professionals who want to gain new skills to those who want to understand the logistics of how to publish articles to anyone who is just curious and wants to meet other League members who are also curious.

Dr. Amelia Dietrich is the Senior Director for Research and Publications at The Forum on Education Abroad and Managing Editor of Frontiers: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Study Abroad. Amelia’s work focuses on The Forum’s research and publishing efforts, including the Standards in Action book series. She publishes and presents widely on topics related to best practice in education abroad around the world.

Dr. Elaine Meyer-Lee, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Goucher College, was previously an SIO for 18 years at Agnes Scott and Saint Mary’s. She has led, taught in, researched, published, and presented widely on international, intercultural, and leadership higher education since earning her doctorate in human development and psychology from Harvard. She has received grants including a Fulbright in France, and currently serves on the boards of ISEP, American Conference of Academic Deans, and Haverford Corporation. She has consulted to many colleges and is the Editor of Frontiers: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Study Abroad.
