Our roles often involve frequent travel, working across different time zones, and constantly monitoring global events— making the balance between caregiving and our professional responsibilities particularly tough. Hi there! I’m LMA.

I’ve had the chance to work across various corners of international education – from a global exchange organization to an Ivy, and two major education abroad providers. These experiences have fueled my passion for connecting people and solving problems. I’m all about building partnerships, leading teams through change, and identifying creative solutions.

I hold a BA in English Literature and Spanish from Rice University and an MA in Intercultural Communication from UMBC. My commitment to international education took off during a transformative year at the Universitat de Barcelona (which also helped smooth out my Texas accent). Beyond work, I love traveling with my family, discovering new college mascots, and hanging out with my rambunctious cat, Leo.

I’m excited to be a part of the Global Leadership League and look forward to connecting!
